Graz, the capital of the Austrian province Styria, is located in the southeastern part of Austria. The city is well connected by train, car, and plane, making it easily accessible for visitors from around the world.

Via Train
The train station in Graz (Graz Hauptbahnhof) is well connected to major cities in Austria and Europe. There are convenient 3-hour and 2.5-hour trains from Vienna airport (Flughafen Wien) and Vienna central station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) respectively. From Munich, the journey takes about 4 hours with a change in Salzburg. From Klagenfurt, Graz can be reached by train in about one hour.

Via Bus
Long-distance buses are a budget-friendly and popular travel option to Graz, with routes connecting to numerous cities across Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. Companies like FlixBus provide regular services to and from Graz.
For example, there is a direct bus from Vienna Airport (Flughafen Wien) to Graz (use the Girardigasse station) that takes about 2.5 hours.

Via Plane
Graz Airport (GRZ) is located about 10 km southeast of the city center and is easily accessible by public transport. There are direct flights to several major cities in Europe, including Vienna, Frankfurt, and London.
If you cannot find a direct flight to Graz, consider flying into Vienna International Airport (VIE) , Munich Airport (MUC), or Klagenfurt Airport (KLU) and take a train to Graz.
