Final Arrival Information for ECMTB 2026

ECMTB 2026 is almost here! We look forward to welcoming you to Graz and have collected a few final practical pointers to help you get started.

Registration and check-in

Registration takes place on Sunday, 12 July, from 15:00 to 18:00, and from 07:30 on Monday, 13 July. You can also register at the conference office at any time during the conference. Please see the venue page for its location.

At check-in, you will receive your conference bag and name tag, as well as your physical lunch vouchers and tickets for any social events you have booked.

Sunday and the conference programme

The early-career workshop begins on Sunday at 11:30. Read more on the workshop page, and find further SMB and ESMTB events throughout the week in the programme.

Plenary talks take place in lecture hall HS 62.01, next to the conference office. As attendance is expected to exceed the capacity of the main lecture hall, plenaries and conference-wide events will also be streamed to additional lecture halls. Please check the room markers on the relevant event pages—for example, the opening event—and follow the guidance of the organising team and orientation assistants.

Stay connected and plan your week

Our conference Zulip chat will be used for plenary questions, announcements and updates, lunch-ticket exchanges, and socialising. You can sign up by scanning the QR code on your name tag.

You can now build a personalised schedule in My Programme: select contributions using the ⭐ icon, then share your schedule with colleagues or import it on your phone using a share link.

Finally, a small number of rooms are available for participants to book for meetings during the week. The booking form, along with other useful local information, is available via the QR code on your name tag.
